Shades in Motion: The GCC's First Sunglass Fashion Show

Shades in Motion by Spiriti Felici — the GCC's first sunglass fashion show, held at Villa Shams in Kuwait, unveiling 16 new designs and the first Boutiqaat Exclusive collaboration.

In January 2026, Spiriti Felici took sunglasses beyond the display and onto the runway with Shades in Motion, the first fashion show in the GCC dedicated to sunglasses. Hosted at Villa Shams, the show was built around a simple idea: sunglasses deserve their own moment.

As the sun began to set, guests gathered for an outdoor runway experience where eyewear became the centre of every look. Styled by Shoug Hayat, Shades in Motion brought together fashion, eyewear and the colours of a Kuwaiti sunset.

16 new frames in motion

The runway marked the debut of 16 new Spiriti Felici sunglass designs, each presented as part of a complete look.

Rather than introducing the collection through traditional product displays, we wanted people to see the frames the way they are meant to be seen — worn, styled and in motion. The collection explored different silhouettes, colours and personalities, giving guests the first look at our 2026 designs.

Our first Boutiqaat Exclusive

The evening also marked another milestone for Spiriti Felici: the reveal of our first Boutiqaat Exclusive collaboration sunglass.

Created exclusively for Boutiqaat, the design made its debut on the Shades in Motion runway alongside the new collection. It was a fitting place to introduce a collaboration that brought together two Kuwait-born names with audiences across the region.

A sunset at Villa Shams

The setting was an essential part of Shades in Motion. Villa Shams became the backdrop for a runway timed around sunset, allowing the atmosphere to change naturally throughout the show — from the warmth of daylight to the mood of the evening.

The styling direction by Shoug Hayat connected every look back to the eyewear, keeping the sunglasses at the heart of the runway.

The beginning of something new

Spiriti Felici started with the belief that sunglasses can be more than an accessory. Shades in Motion was our way of putting that belief on a runway.
